Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager who will be responsible for increasing market share, identifying new market opportunities, and managing client accounts. This role involves strategic planning, sales management, client engagement, and marketing campaign execution to ensure Edutek Pty Ltd. remains at the forefront of the IT & LMS industry.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Sales Growth
Identify and develop new market opportunities to increase Edutek’s market share.
Build key customer relationships and convert prospects into long-term clients.
Drive sales by selecting and marketing suitable IT and LMS products.
Develop strategic plans to achieve financial growth and market positioning.
Client Relationship Management
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
Conduct regular client meetings, create sales opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Present new Edutek Pty Ltd. products and services to enhance client engagement.
Work closely with internal technical teams to meet client needs.
Sales & Marketing Strategy
Design and execute effective marketing campaigns.
Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry developments to refine business strategies.
Contribute to pricing discussions and help shape the company’s unique selling proposition.
Provide R&D market intelligence reports to support decision-making.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Submit weekly progress reports and ensure CRM data accuracy.
Assist management by providing sales data for budgeting and forecasting.
Track and record client interactions and sales activities to help close deals.
Leadership & Team Coordination
Coordinate and manage sales personnel, ensuring high team performance.
Conduct business development training and mentoring for internal staff.
Ensure all team members professionally represent Edutek Pty Ltd.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in business development, sales, or account management in the IT, EdTech, or LMS sector.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT solutions, LMS platforms, and digital learning technologies.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing business revenue.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven business decisions.
CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Networking & Relationship-Building: Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and industry professionals.
